Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using TabVault.

Last updated: March 2026 · Effective immediately

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using TabVault (the Extension), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Extension. These terms apply to all users of TabVault, including users of the free plan and paid Pro subscribers.

2. Description of Service

TabVault is a Chrome browser extension developed by Muhammad Saad Ali that allows users to save the state of browser tabs including URL, scroll position, and video timestamps, and restore them at a later time. The Extension offers a free tier with limited functionality and a paid Pro subscription that unlocks full features.

3. Free Plan

The free plan allows users to save up to 3 quick saves. Free plan users can open individual saved tabs. The free plan is provided as-is with no guarantees of continued availability. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits at any time with reasonable notice.

4. Pro Subscription

TabVault Pro is available for $5.00 USD per month. Payment is processed by Paddle (paddle.com), our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Upon successful payment, you will receive a license key by email. The license key grants you one month of Pro access on one device. Your subscription renews monthly unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through Paddle's customer portal.

5. License Key

Each license key is valid for one month from the date of purchase. License keys are for personal use only and may not be shared, resold, or distributed. Misuse of license keys may result in deactivation without refund. You are responsible for keeping your license key secure.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy available at tabvaultpro.vercel.app/refund. We offer a 7-day refund window for first-time purchases if the Extension does not function as described. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase.

7. Data and Privacy

TabVault stores all your saved tab data locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your browsing data on any server. Please see our Privacy Policy at tabvaultpro.vercel.app/privacy for full details.

8. Intellectual Property

TabVault and all associated code, design, and content are the intellectual property of Muhammad Saad Ali. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extension for personal purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Extension without explicit written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

TabVault is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Muhammad Saad Ali shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of TabVault.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
